We now have new procedures in place to allow us to “reopen” both Lichfield and Burton stores. To meet all the safety guidelines for retail, there will be a number of important changes to the way we operate. The most important being guidelines for staff and customers when you are in the stores and our new appointment system that we are operating for both sales and service, please read all the details below for information and how to book an appointment.
New opening hours for both shops are as follows:
In Store Sales
- Tuesday 9am – 5pm
- Wednesday 9am – 5:30pm
- Thursday 9am – 5.30pm
- Friday 9am – 5:30pm
- Saturday 9am – 5:30pm
- Sunday and Monday – closed
As both shops have limited space we can only allow one customer (or a couple / family from the same household) in at anytime. We will be operating the 2m social distancing and will politely ask that you avoid touching products where possible. Please pay by card where possible and do not visit if you or any member of your household have symptoms or have been asked to self isolate.
We ask that all customers who wish to view bikes and higher value items that will require more time, to make an appointment before you visit. All customers with a pre booked appointment will be given priority. We will try and help any other customers by serving at the door where possible. You can also continue to buy products here online. As availability of new bikes in the UK continues to be very limited, stock may not appear on the website but may be available in store. We are managing to continue to source stock of a good range of bikes.
Service and repairs
We ask all customers to pre book an appointment to drop off their bike for service / repair and this can also now be done online. We can’t accept any bikes without a pre booked appointment. Bike and Saddle fitting
In the short term, to ensure everyone’s safety we cannot unfortunately offer these services.
We apologise in advance that we can’t offer any drinks or sit and chat as we have done in the past, but hope that our new way of trading will work well for everyone. Please note that the procedures set out above is how we expect to be operating for the foreseeable future but will continually review our procedures and policies.
